Fresh Foam X 880v14 Black

The New Balance Fresh Foam X 880v14 is a standard neutral daily trainer built for consistent, high-mileage performance on paved roads. The design features a clean black engineered mesh upper with a distinctive white Fresh Foam X midsole, offering a minimalist aesthetic that pairs well with most athletic wardrobes. It delivers the reliable, cushioned ride the 880 series is known for, focusing on smooth transitions across the gait cycle and lasting durability for everyday training.

Runners will find a supportive, accommodating fit that handles natural foot swelling during long efforts. The traditional lace-up closure ensures the upper stays locked to the foot, while the padded collar and tongue reduce friction at the heel and instep. The substantial foam stack provides noticeable impact absorption, making extended sessions on hard surfaces significantly less punishing on the joints and feet.

• Use case: Well-suited for neutral runners needing a dependable daily trainer for easy recovery runs, tempo workouts, and long miles on road surfaces, providing a smooth ride from warm-up to cool-down.
• Fit & sizing: Runs true to standard New Balance sizing with a roomy toe box; the lace-up system and padded heel collar offer a secure, adjustable fit, backed by the soft, high-travel Fresh Foam X cushioning.
• Material & construction: Built with an engineered mesh upper for targeted ventilation and lightweight structure, sitting atop a full-length Fresh Foam X midsole and capped with a durable rubber outsole featuring pivot points for reliable traction.

It is an excellent choice for neutral runners who prioritize soft, reliable cushioning and durable construction for their daily volume and long-distance training runs.
