Meet the Challenger ATR 7 from Hoka, a versatile running shoe engineered to tackle asphalt and off-road trails with confidence.

Redesigned from the ATR 6, it delivers more cushioning while shedding weight for a faster feel. The midsole is thicker by 3 mm, offering a plush ride without compromising stability. A softer CMEVA foam and molded EVA insole cushion every step, absorbing impact on hard pavement while remaining responsive on trails.

The outsole features an aggressive grouping of studs for superior grip across mixed terrain. The stud layout is deliberate to maximize traction where you need it most, and to stay out of the way when you’re cruising on roads.

New upper construction uses solid materials with extra toe-box reinforcement and an extended heel cap, delivering improved durability and easier entry. The Achilles area benefits from a specialized heel-cap design for a more comfortable lockdown on longer runs. The upper is crafted from constructed mesh and recycled materials, blending breathability with sustainability.
